FAQs

girl, I don’t know my size? no worries! if your local we can meet for sizing. if your not local, usually any jewelry stores will measure you for your ring size.

what metals do you use? currently, i’m only using jewelers brass and sterling silver, but I hope to have gold available soon!

will my pieces tarnish? all jewelry with naturally start to tarnish as it is exposed to wear. sterling silver will not tarnish as quickly a brass does. BUT you can clean your pieces super easily!

how do I clean my pieces? each metal requires its own cleaning method.

sterling silver can be cleaned with a polishing cloth. you can find them at most stores like walmart/target in the jewelry section. you can put it in warm soapy for a minute and then using the cleaning side of the cloth to remove any tarnish. after you’ve cleaned it, you will buff it with the other part of the polishing cloth.

brass metals can be cleaned with a warm soapy water bath, dry, and then use jewelry grade steel wool. you can find these at Lowe’s or your local hardware store, just be sure to read on the back of the package to make sure they are jewelry grade.

if the brass has really started to turn and tarnish it may need an acidic cleaning. you can do this by using warm vinegar and salt mixture before you use the brass wool. warm up 1 cup of vinegar with 1 tablespoon of salt. let the brass soak for a few minutes as needed, then clean with the brass wool.

some people also use tomatoes as an acidic cleaner. rub a bit of ketchup or tomato juice onto your piece, then wipe off, rinse, and dry.
